MOPED CAR LICENSE AM121
General: You need AM121-LICENSE to drive a moped car or a light quadricycle. Traficom issues the license when you have completed the education required and passed the theory exam and the driving exam.
Age limits: The age limit is 15 years. You may apply for the driving license permit in the age of 14. You may begin the driving school course in the age of 14 years 6 moths. You may participate in the theory exam in the age of 14 years 11 moths. You may begin your driving lessons and participate in the driving exam at the age of 15.
Duration: Each student is given an individual study plan. Typically, it takes two to four weeks to complete the course.
Course description: AM121-LICENSE course comprises the EAS Course and driving lessons. The EAS course is compulsory for every student who is carrying out their first Finnish driving license. If you have a Finnish driving license in any other category beforehand, you can dismiss the EAS course.
Exams: Theory exam and driving exam. The driving school office will help you to book the exams.
